Apply with a q-tip on nails, between toes, anywhere where the fungus is growing. Each year, we make an annual trek to the high deserts of Eastern Washington to harvest Desert Sage. My apprentices and I travel over the mountain and enjoy 2 days of sage and herb gathering and a lovely evening by the fire tying bundles of Artemisia tridentata, high desert sage.
Traditionally, sage has been used in tea to promote sleep, ease menstrual cramps, sore muscles and aches and pains from cold and flu. More commonly, people use sage for smudging and preparing for prayer and thanks.
